Taimur snatched the Hub Rally title from Sultan who won the race last year. The latter came second this year. Nadir, who is considered one of the top racers in the country, couldn't finish his race due to a technical fault in his car.

Meanwhile, Dina Patel, the daughter of champion racer couple Roney and Tishna Patel, won the title in the women's category. She covered the distance with best time of 27 minutes and 33 seconds. Asif Imam won first position in Stock A category.

Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori graced the closing ceremony of the event and distributed prizes among the winners.

On this occasion, Tessori praised Hub Rally management for promoting motorsports in Pakistan.

"I am surprised to see such a big motorsports event happening between Karachi and Balochistan," he said.

"I would like to congratulate Hub Rally organisers for this successful event and racers for winning in their respective categories. I hope motorsports flourish in Pakistan," he concluded.
