Shahid Afridi-led Asia Lions beat India Maharajas to qualify for final in Legends League

Shahid Afridi-led Asia Lions beat India Maharajas by 85 runs to qualify for the final of Legends League Cricket (LLC) in Qatar on Saturday. 

After setting Maharajas to chase 192 runs, Lions' Pakistan-hailed former international bowlers bowled brilliantly. 

Sohail Tanvir, Mohammad Hafeez and Abdur Razzaq bagged two wickets to help the Lions bowl out Gautam Gambhir-led Maharajas for 106 runs. Bowlers helped the Lions notch 85-run victory. 

Gambhir scored highest 32 runs before falling to Hafeez. 

Earlier, Lions' opener Upul Tharanga led Maharajs from the front by scoring fifty off 31 balls. Hafeez scored 38 while Asghar Afghan smoked 34 runs to help the Lions post 191-5 in 20 overs. 

Stuart Binny and Pragyan Ojha bagged two wickets each for Maharajas. 

The Lions will meet World Giants in final of LLC on March 20.
