The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced the schedule of three T20Is against Pakistan.

Taking to Twitter, ACB announced that the two neighboring countries will meet in three-match T20I series on March 25, 27 ,and 29 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In a bid to support ACB after Australia canceled their series against them citing violation of women's rights in their country, PCB offered them to play three T20Is instead of ODIs while responding to their request.

PCB's current chief Najam Sethi, during one of his press conferences, said they weren't interested to accept ACB's invitation to play three ODIs, however, three T20Is could be an option subject to the Pakistani government's clearance.

"I met with ACB officials and we discussed the possibility of three ODIs. My point of view was that ODIs wouldn't benefit any of the two countries. We came to the conclusion that subject to the government’s approval, Pakistan and Afghanistan will play three T20I matches in Sharjah, just after the conclusion of PSL 8 and before the arrival of New Zealand." he shared.

The profit of the series will be shared equally between PCB and ACB.
