Islamabad United's power-hitter Azam Khan went berserk on Quetta Gladiators' during 13th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 in Karachi on Friday. 

Khan, who was playing against his father Moin Khan's team, scored firepower 97 runs off 42 balls. 

The magnificent knock included nine boundaries and eight towering sixes.

The right-handed batter joined the crease after United lost three wickets for 43 runs in 6.2 overs. He took the charge immediately and started hitting all around the park. 

Khan was unstoppable as he took United to this year's highest team total of 220-6. Apart from Khan's knock, Asif Ali smashed 42 runs off 24 balls including a boundary and four maximums. 

Left-handed batter Colin Munro also contributed 38 runs laced with a boundary and four maximums. 

When this story was filed, Gladiators had already lost three wickets for 65 runs in 6.2 overs. Mohammad Hafeez and skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed were trying to build up the innings for Gladiators.
