PSL 8: Lahore Qalandars release teaser of anthem

The anthem will be released on Thursday

Lahore Qalandars have released the teaser of their anthem for the upcoming seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The Qalandar's kit and song will be released at the Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore on February 9.

As mentioned in the teaser, "from hope to reality" is the theme of the anthem.

Meanwhile, Qalandars City will also be launched on the same day.

On Tuesday, Qalandars' batter Fakhar Zaman invited fans to the Qalandars Night.

"Lahore Qalandar's kit and song are going to be released on February 9. Come to the Alhamra Cultural Complex Lahore by 7 pm and enjoy," he said.

Chief Executive Officer of the Lahore Qalandars, Atif Rana said: Qalandars Night will be a memorable event. Fans will definitely like the song of Lahore Qalandars. The kit has been designed after a lot of hard work."

The Qalandars will kick off their PSL title defence against Multan Sultans in a rematch of the grand final of the seventh edition of the event.

The two sides will take on each other at the Multan Cricket Stadium after an opening ceremony on February 13.

Lahore Qalandars will attempt to become the first side to win back-to-back titles; meanwhile Islamabad United will aim to become the most successful side by lifting the trophy thrice.

Rawalpindi will stage 11 fixtures, Karachi and Lahore will host nine matches each, whereas Multan will have five home games.
