Pakistan's Atif Butt has won the Tekken World Tour Finals 2022, carrying on Arsalan Ash's legacy.

Top Tekken players from around the world competed at the tournament for the chance to become the Tekken World Champion.

However, it was Atif who had the skills to take the prestigious title home.

24 players competed in the recently finished Tekken World Tour 2022. Some of them advanced directly through the Regional Finals, while others participated in the Last Chance Qualifiers.

Atif emerged as a major contender, thanks to an exceptional record of victories. He won his preliminary round group, which qualified him for the Finals Bracket.

In the Winners Finals matchup against Chikurin, Atif produced an incredible comeback, overcoming an early 0-2 lead to claim a 3-2 triumph.

He defeated JeonDDing 3-0 in the Grand Finals to win the title of World Champion.

On the other hand, Arsalan Ash's performance was an unexpected letdown because he couldn't book his spot in the finals after losing three of his five Group Stage matches.
