The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the senior and junior selection committees on Wednesday.
Three members have been added to the senior selection committee headed by Haroon Rashid, while the five-member junior selection committee has been entrusted to Kamran Akmal.
The PCB has added Kamran Akmal, Muhammad Sami, and Yasir Hameed to the national senior selection committee.
Akmal played 53 Tests, 157 ODIs, and 58 T20 matches for Pakistan between 2002 and 2017.
Fast bowler Mohammad Sami played 36 Tests, 87 ODIs, and 13 T20 internationals, while Yasir Hameed played 25 Tests and 56 ODIs.
Meanwhile, Akmal, 41, will also be the head of the junior selection committee.
Under the leadership of the wicket-keeper batter, former national selectors Tauseef Ahmed, Arshad Khan, Shahid Nazir, and Shoaib Khan are also included in the junior selection committee.
