The right-arm pacer led Sultans' bowling from the front in his debut PSL season. Dahani picked up the highest 20 wickets in that edition to lay down a solid foundation for his team to win their maiden PSL title.

Dahani made his T20I debut against Bangladesh in the same year on the basis of his PSL performance. He took a wicket for 24 runs in four overs on his debut.

He was recently a part of Pakistan's Test and ODI squads for home series against England and New Zealand. He didn't get a chance to play any match.

Pakistan were beaten 3-0 by England in Test series whereas Test series against New Zealand held draw and later on Kiwis won three-match ODI series 2-1.
