Former cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi locked horns with Shaheen Afridi in a one-off contest in Karachi on Wednesday.
Shaheen, who alongside his family reached Karachi for his Nikah with Shahid's daughter Ansha, did practice with his to-be father-in-law.
Taking to Instagram, Shahid shared the story of hitting Shaheen for a long six.
Shahid, who retired from international cricket back in 2016, looked strong against Shaheen's delivery. The left-arm pacer has recently recovered from a knee injury and started training ahead of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8.
According to the sources, Shaheen's family alongside the to-be groom is currently in Karachi and has started preparations for the Nikah ceremony which is scheduled on February 3.
The couple’s engagement had already taken place two years ago.
Earlier in an interview on Geo News show 'Aik Din Geo Kai Sath', Shaheen shared that it was his wish to marry Shahid's daughter Ansha.
"It was my wish and Alhumdulillah [thanks to Allah Almighty] it is fulfilled now," a blushing Shaheen told the interviewer Sohail Warraich.
Shaheen will join his franchise Lahore Qalandars soon after his Nikah on February 4. Qalandars will start training for PSL 8 in Lahore.
