Wedding preparations start in Afridi family
Shaheen will tie knot with Ansha Afridi on February 3
Shaheen Afridi and his family have reached Karachi as the Pakistani pacer is set to tie the knot with former cricketer Shahid Afridi's daughter Ansha.
According to the sources, Shaheen's family alongside the to-be groom is currently in Karachi and has started preparations for the Nikah ceremony which is scheduled on February 3.
The couple’s engagement had already taken place two years ago.
Earlier in an interview on Geo News show 'Aik Din Geo Kai Sath', Shaheen shared that it was his wish to marry Shahid's daughter Ansha.
"It was my wish and Alhumdulillah [thanks to Allah Almighty] it is fulfilled now," a blushing Shaheen told the interviewer Sohail Warraich.

Shaheen will lead defending champions Lahore Qalandars in this year's PSL. The pacer led Qalandars to their maiden title victory last year.
Qalandars will begin their campaign for the eight edition of the tournament on February 4 in their home city.
The six-day training camp will be held under the state-of-the-art facilities of Qalandars High-Performance Centre, Lahore.
The whole Qalandars squad including the captain will feature in the camp which will conclude on February 9.
Director Cricket Operations Qalandars, Aaqib Javed, has stated that the six-day camp will include couple of intra-squad practice matches and some rigorous net sessions.
"We have planned an extensive PSL campaign to defend the title, as such, all our local players are reporting on February 4 in Lahore,” Javed was quoted as saying in a press release.
“A six-day long training session will facilitate players to get themselves reunited and gelled up again,
“Lahore Qalandars is a family and we are in constant touch with our overseas players to bring them in the camp as soon as possible," he concluded.
