Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo reportedly set to leave the Etihad and join Bayern Munich on loan before the winter transfer deadline.

The Athletic said that a move to Germany may now be expedited because he has fallen below players like Rico Lewis, Nathan Ake, and Kyle Walker in City's full-back pecking order.
The versatile 28-year-old is anticipated to have a buy option included in Bayern's agreement worth approximately €70 million (£61.6 million), according to The Independent. The Bundesliga's top teams have long admired Cancelo's abilities.
Cancelo would be eligible to make his debut for Bayern in either a DFB-Pokal match against Mainz on Wednesday or a Bundesliga trip to Wolfsburg on Sunday if he completes a transfer before the winter transfer window ends on Tuesday.
