England's Sam Billings reacted after defending champions Lahore Qalandars roped him in for the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in an online Replacement Draft on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter, the wicket-keeper said he is delighted to join the Qalandars family.
"So happy to join the Lahore Qalandars family! Can't wait to play in Pakistan for the first time," he wrote.
It is worth mentioning here that the Qalandars signed Billings, along with three other players, after England batter Harry Brook was ruled out of the PSL 8, while Rashid Khan and Jordan Cox are set to miss the first three matches.
However, Lahore Qalandars reserved their Supplementary 4 pick.
The eighth edition of the PSL will take place between February 13 and March 19, 2023, at four venues.
Rawalpindi will stage 11 fixtures, Karachi and Lahore will host nine matches each, whereas Multan will have five home games.
The PSL 8 will kick off on February 13 when defending champions Lahore Qalandars take on 2021 champions Multan Sultans in the opening clash at the Multan Cricket Stadium after a vibrant opening ceremony.
