Pakistan's veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik is in red-hot form in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

After already scoring two fifties in five matches, Malik once again showed his power and scored the third fifty in the tournament.

While representing Rangpur Riders against Chattogram Challengers on Monday, Malik smashed unbeaten 75 runs off 45 balls to help his team score 179-6 in 20 overs.

His entertaining inning included five boundaries and as many maximums.

When this story was filed, Challengers were 92-4 in 11 overs while chasing 280 runs.

With two victories in five matches, Riders are currently fifth in seven-team tournament.

Malik, 40, is currently the oldest Pakistani active cricketer. He has represented the country in 35 Tests, 287 ODIs and 124 T20Is since his ODI debut in 1999.

He wasn't picked in Pakistan's squad for T20 Asia Cup and T20 World Cup last year. The right-handed batter last featured in a T20I back in 2021 against Bangladesh.
