Shan tied the knot with Nische on January 20

Pakistan team skipper Babar Azam, alongside his teammate Imam-ul-Haq, former cricketers Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Gul, Azhar Ali, and other players, attended the wedding ceremony of Shan Masood which is currently underway in Peshawar. 

Shan tied the knot with the love of his life Nische on January 20 in an intimate Nikah ceremony in Peshawar. A star-studded wedding ceremony, which is happening right now in Peshawar, was attended by renowned names from cricket circles. 

Babar and Imam drove all the way from Lahore to join Shan on his special day. 

Shan made his debut for Pakistan Test team in 2013. Since then, he has played 28 Tests, six ODIs and 19 T20Is.

He made his return to Pakistan team after proving his mettle in latest County Cricket season.

Under the new Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) set-up led by Najam Sethi, Shan was named the vice-captain of national ODI team in absence of Shadab Khan who missed home ODI series against New Zealand due to injury.

It must be noted here that controversy sparked after Shan was named vice-captain of the team in presence of Mohammad Rizwan. He also didn't play first two games of three-match ODI series against New Zealand.

Shan will represent Multan Sultans in the upcoming eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
