KARACHI: Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail will not field in the third ODI against New Zealand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared after first innings.

As per PCB, Fakhar was suffering irritation in his right hamstring whereas Haris was feeling pain. Hence, the two cricketers will miss fielding and remain under the observation of the team's medical panel. Meanwhile, Kamran Ghulam came in for Haris as his concussion replacement.

"Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail will not be taking the field at the start of the second innings and will remain under the observation of the team's medical panel. Fakhar has irritation in his right hamstring and Haris has neck pain," PCB released a statement.

Fakhar was on song with the bat as he scored his eighth ODI century. He scored 101 runs off 122 balls including 10 boundaries and a six. On the other hand, Haris made 22 runs off 25 balls.

Pakistan and New Zealand are currently fighting for a series victory. Pakistan set New Zealand to chase 280-9 in 50 overs.

Zaman lifted Pakistan from 21-2 during a third-wicket stand of 154 off 161 balls with Mohammad Rizwan, who made a polished 74-ball 77 with six boundaries.

New Zealand pacer Tim Southee finished with 3-56.

Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and decided to bat first against New Zealand.
