PAK vs NZ: Haris, Fakhar added to probables for ODI series

KARACHI: Interim national chief selector Shahid Khan Afridi has announced the addition of Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail to the probables for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. 

Taking to Twitter, Afridi shared pictures with Fakhar and Haris who gave fitness Test to him in Moin Khan Cricket Academy. 

"We have added Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail to the NZ probables list after they passed their fitness tests today. The two are also playing in Pakistan Cup and doing well," he wrote. 

Haris last featured in an ODI back in 2020 against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi. Fakhar, who missed out on the probables' list earlier, scored the only century during Pakistan's last ODI series against the Netherlands in August this year. 

Earlier, the interim selection committee announced 22 probables for the ODI series. Final squad will be announced after the final of ongoing Pakistan Cup which is scheduled on January 3.
