Shaheen reaches Karachi to attend Aqsa Shahid's nikah ceremony

KARACHI: Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi reached here Thursday to attend Shahid Afridi's eldest daughter Aqsa's nikah ceremony which is scheduled to take place tomorrow. 

Shaheen, who is set to tie knot with Shahid's second daughter Ansha on February 3, has come from Lahore especially to attend Aqsa's nikah ceremony. 

They both came to the National Bank Cricket Arena (NBCA) to watch the ongoing first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand. 

National team's interim chief selector Shahid has been given the task to keenly watch players' performance and behavior of the pitch. 

According to the sources, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s management committee is not happy with pitches. Bouncy pitches, which will create a balance for batters and bowlers, will be made for the second Pakistan vs England Test.
