Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't hold his emotions as he alongside many other Portugal players left the field with tears in their eyes.

After a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of an unbelievable Moroccan team in the quarter-final, Ronaldo and other players were seen crying.

A video went viral on social media in which Ronaldo can be seen leaving the field while having tears in his eyes.

The Portuguese star was probably playing his last FIFA World Cup this year. The former Real Madrid's forward scored only a goal in this year's mega event. He was also not a part of Portugal's starting XI in the knockout stage.

Morocco's convincing victory

Impressive Morocco upset Portugal 1-0 to qualify for the semi-final of FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar on Saturday.

Unimaginable scenes were witnessed Al Thumama Stadium where Youssef En-Nesyri's first-half header took the African country to the semi-finals.

Just three minutes before the first half ended, En-Nesyri's perfect towering header made the most of a cross from left-back Yahya Attiat. The men in red started celebrating as soon as the header deceived Portuguese goalkeeper Costa and went straight into the goal.
