First CNS All Pakistan Squash Championship kicks off December 6 in Karachi
The seven-day event will conclude on December 12
First Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) All Pakistan Squash Championship will commence on December 6 at Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex, Karachi.
As many as 16 players will participate in the qualifying round which is consist of 12 matches. The top four players from the qualifiers will join 12 ranking players in the next round.
The seven-day event will conclude on December 12 at the same venue. The event, consisting of 54 matches altogether, carries a prize purse of PKR1.5 million.
Tournament Director - Commodore Tauqir Ahmed Khawaja is determined for the success of this event.
"There are not enough events for squash players at the national level which is not a good sign. This mega event initiated by the Pakistan Navy is a good step for squash in the country," he said.
"All Pakistan championships and the International level championship will continue every year on an alternate basis," he concluded.
