LAHORE: Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8 will commence in Multan from February 13, sources told Geo.tv.
According to the sources, Multan is set to host PSL's opening ceremony for the very first time. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars will take on hosts Multan Sultans in the opening game of the tournament on February 13.
Lahore is a suggested venue to host PSL 8's final, as per sources. Teams will start gathering on February 9.
The final schedule and details of the event will be announced after consulting with all six franchises.
It must be noted here that PCB has already announced dates of PSL 8. The much-awaited event will take place from February 13 to March 19 in Karachi, Multan, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
The players' draft will take place in Karachi on December 15.
