Shajar Abbas, Tameen Khan become fastest man, woman in Pakistan

LAHORE: Olympian Shajjar Abbas continued to be the fastest man in Pakistan, improving his own record in 100m. 

In 50th National Athletics Championship here today, Shajjar clocked 10.43s to win 100m race. He became the fastest man in Pakistan for the second consecutive year. 

Shajjar, Pakistan's fastest man, competed in Commonwealth Games 2022 and became the first-ever Pakistani to contest in 200m final. 

On the other hand, Tameen Khan clocked 11.86 to win 100m women's race. With this time, she became the new fastest woman in Pakistan.
