QATAR: Argentina's captain Lionel Messi became the first from his country to score a goal in four World Cups. 

Messi took an early lead for Argentina in their first FIFA World Cup 2022 game against Saudi Arabia today. In the 10th minute, Messi struck for Argentina with a penalty. 

His goal made him the first from Argentina to score in four World Cups as shared by FIFA. 

Saudi Arabia upset Argentina in a thrilling contest today. The men in green beat the opponents by 2-1 in group C to start their world cup campaign on a winning note. 

Argentina will play their second game against Mexico on November 27.
