Virat Kohli thanked Gaddani boys for making his sand portrait

Shahnawaz Dahani shared that the Indian cricketer was impressed by the artwork

ADELAIDE: Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani helped the young Gaddani boys' 'Rashidi artists group' get recognition from former Indian captain Virat Kohli. 

Rashidi artists group made an eye-catching sand portrait of Kohli that garnered immense praise on social media. 

"We have made portrait for Virat Kohli," said Sami Shaukat, one of the members of the Rashidi artists group. 

Like many people on social media, Kohli's portrait managed to gain the attention of Dahani. Taking to Twitter today, Dahani shared that he showed artwork of local Pakistani boys to Kohli. 

"This is for you Gaddani boys. Virat was very happy for this and says thank you to your whole group and he really loved it," disclosed Dahani with a picture with Kohli, who was showing the portrait towards the camera. 

Kohli is one of the most followed Indian cricketers in Pakistan. Recently, when he was out of form, a lot of Pakistan cricket fans sent good wishes for him on social media.
