LAHORE: Olympian Mahoor Shahzad will miss Ranking Badminton Tournament due to her marriage.

The national champion told Geo.tv that she will be taking break from badminton due to her marriage.

"Due to my marriage, I will be taking a break from badminton," said Mahoor while ensuring that she will return to her sport after marriage.

Mahoor will tie the knot with her fiancé on November 13. The national event is scheduled from October 26 to 30 in October.

It must be noted here that Mahoor is the only badminton player to have represented Pakistan in the Olympics. She participated in Tokyo Olympics 2020.
