T20 World Cup: Rain stops Pakistan vs Afghanistan warm-up game

BRISBANE: Rain interrupted Pakistan vs Afghanistan warm-up game in the T20 World Cup 2022. 

Pakistan came out to bat after Afghanistan set them to chase 155 runs. Openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan played just 2.2 overs when the rain came in and umpires were forced to stop the game. 

Babar and Rizwan scored six runs together with Afghanistan bowlers conceding 13 extras as Pakistan scored 19-0 in 2.2 overs.

Earlier, Pakistan lost to England in the warm-up game by six wickets.
