T20 World Cup: Sunil Gavaskar presents signed cap to Babar Azam

BRISBANE: India's legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar presented his signed cap to Pakistan's captain Babar Azam. 

Babar alongside his teammates and coaching staff was invited to a private dinner hosted by the Pakistan team's batting mentor for T20 World Cup 2022, Matthew Hayden. 

Gavaskar met Babar, Pakistan team's head coach Saqlain Mushtaq, batting coach Mohammad Yousaf, and all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz in a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). 

Babar got a chance to take experience from Gavaskar.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan captain also received a signed cap from the cricketer-turned-commentator. 

It must be noted here that Pakistan team lost to England in their warm-up game by six wickets in T20 World Cup 2022 today. Pakistan will play their first match in the marquee event on October 23 against arch-rivals India.
