LEEDS: After 23 seconds of play, the Premier League match between Leeds United and Arsenal was halted due to a power outage at Elland Road.

Video assistant referee officials were unable to reach referee Chris Kavanagh. The goal line technology was also down.

Kavanagh met with both managers, Jesse Marsch of Leeds and Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, on the sidelines as players stood around and spectators wondered what was going on.

After waiting for about 12 minutes, Kavanagh escorted the two sets of players off the field after a speaker inside the stadium announced there had been a "power cut."

Around 20 minutes later, the players and officials returned to the field for a warm-up before the match resumed.
