T20 World Cup: Shaheen Afridi available for warm-up match against England

KARACHI: Pakistan fiery pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi is available for selection in the T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up match against England on Monday (tomorrow).

According to a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson, the left-arm pacer will be available for the warm-up match to get some match practise before the high-octane clash against traditional rivals India.

However, batter Fakhar Zaman, who joined the squad with Shaheen, will undergo further rehab. The left-handed batter also continued his cricket training in Brisbane.

Pakistan will take on England in their first warm-up match on Monday and later Afghanistan before taking on arch-rivals India in their World Cup opener on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
