T20 World Cup 2022: Pakistan-India clash likely to be affected by rain

KARACHI: Pakistan's T20 World Cup 2022 opener against India, scheduled to take place on October 23 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCC), is likely to be affected by rain.

According to the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Melbourne on Sunday, October 23.

Rain is predicted in Melbourne from Thursday, and currently, three states in Australia are affected by rain, and the weather is also cold.

It is worth mentioning here that all the tickets for the India-Pakistan match have been sold out. If the match is affected by rain, both teams will get one point each.

The much-awaited T20 World Cup kicked off in Australia on Sunday (today).
