Pakistan beat Brazil by 3-1 in the semi-final to qualify for the final of the event

DOHA: Pakistan lost to Egypt in the mega final of the Street Child Football World Cup here on Saturday.

After a tough competition between the two sides, the match was forced to be decided on penalties, which turned out in Brazil's favour as they managed to score four penalties while Pakistan managed to net only three.

Earlier, Pakistan beat Brazil by 3-1 in the semi-final to qualify for the final of the event.

Pakistan secured the third position in the 2014 event. This will be Pakistan's highest position in the mega event.

About Street Child World Cup

Street Child World Cup, under the banner of a non-profit group called Street Child United, is taking place since 2010 ahead of FIFA World Cup. The last three editions of the event took place in South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014) and Russia (2018).

This year, the event took place in Qatar from October 7 to 15. The tournament included 26 teams from across the world.
