Pakistan's Palwasha Bashir, Raja Hasnain shine in Egypt International Badminton Championship

EGYPT: Palwasha Bashir returned to the international arena with back-to-back impressive performances during the ongoing Egypt International Badminton Championship.
After qualifying in women's Round of 16, Palwasha and her partner Raja Hasnain beat Adham Hatem and Doha Hany of Egypt to qualify in mixed doubles Round of 16.
Taking to Twitter, the badminton star shared the news of her other victory in the event.
"Shukar Alhumdulillah, my partner Raja Hasnain and I beat Adham Hatem and Doha Hany of Egypt, world No.43 & top seeds of the tournament, in straight sets with the score 22 - 20 & 21 -16. Looking forward to our next match," she shared.
On Thursday, Palwasha beat Egypt's Rahma Mohammad Saad by 2-0. After losing the first set by 19-21, Palwasha bounced back with back-to-back sets by 21-15 and 21-19 respectively.
