CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan batters failed to hit even a single six today against New Zealand in the T20I tri-series.
Pakistan's middle-order batting deteriorated once again as the national team could only score 130-7 in 20 overs.
Taking to Twitter, renowned statistician Mazher Arshad shared that after eight years, the Pakistan team failed to hit a six in a complete 20 overs in international cricket.
"First time in 8 years Pakistan have failed to hit a six in a completed T20I inning. The last time it was against Australia in Dubai in 2014," he wrote.
Iftikhar Ahmed scored the highest run-a-ball 27 runs in Pakistan's 130-7. Pakistan are currently on top of the points table in T20I tri-series.
