Cristiano Ronaldo completes 700 club goals

LIVERPOOL: In the victory over Everton for Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo reached another milestone in his brilliant career by scoring his 700th club goal.

The 37-year-old Portuguese forward now has 144 goals for United across his two stints at the club.

He scored five goals for Sporting Lisbon, 101 for Juventus, and 450 for Real Madrid.

Ronaldo only has two goals this year after scoring his 699th goal against FC Sheriff in the Europa League in September. That goal came on Sunday at Goodison Park.

When Anthony Martial went down with an injury in the 29th minute of the Everton game, Ronaldo entered the game from the bench. He scored the game-winning goal 15 minutes later as United moved up 2-1.
