LAHORE: The Pakistan cricket team received good news ahead of the final T20I of the series against England, scheduled to take place at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
The Men in Green's middle-order batter Haider Ali, who suffered from a viral infection, has been discharged from the hospital, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed Saturday.
"He [Haider Ali] is now feeling better and has reached the team hotel," said the board.
Haider was rushed to the hospital after the sixth T20I against England on Friday due to an illness.
The national cricket governing body added that he was taken back to the hotel from the hospital after his medical examination.
The series-decider and final clash of the seven-match T20I series between Pakistan and England will kick off at the Gaddafi Stadium at 07:30 PM (PST) on Sunday (tomorrow).
