KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators' owner Nadeem Omar thinks that Sarfaraz Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan can play together in the Pakistan team.
Speaking to media at a local event, Nadeem, who is considered one of the mentors of Sarfaraz, believes that the former captain deserves another chance in the national team.
"I think Sarfaraz has been performing well for some time now. He definitely deserves another chance," said Nadeem. "There is no harm if Sarfaraz comes in the presence of Rizwan. They both can play together," he added.
Nadeem is known for his cricket work in Karachi. He is also the current president of the Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) which is not completely active.
During the press conference, Nadeem said that an English County Club will come to Karachi next month. "An English County club will visit Karachi next month. Quetta Gladiators and Omar Associates will host few matches at the KCCA Stadium," he said.
