Shaheen is returning from a knee injury that ruled him out of T20 Asia Cup 2022 and home T20I series against England

LAHORE: National coach Umar Rasheed is to fly to London on Wednesday where he will join Shaheen Shah Afridi. 

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), on Tuesday, informed the media that Rasheed is set to travel to London on Wednesday. 

The coach will join Shaheen in London to help him start proper bowling practice.

Shaheen is returning from a knee injury that ruled him out of T20 Asia Cup 2022 and home T20I series against England. 

After completing his rehabilitation, Shaheen started bowling. Taking to Twitter, he shared the video while bowling with his fans. 

Shaheen was named in Pakistan's squad for T20 World Cup 2022 and the tri-nation series in New Zealand. 

The left-arm pacer will now join the national team alongside coach Rasheed in Brisbane on October 15.
