Boston Celtics suspend coach Ime Udoka for season 2022-23

KARACHI: Ime Udoka, the Boston Celtics' head coach, has been suspended by the club for violating the team's code of conduct for the entire 2022–23 NBA season.

According to ESPN, assistant coach Joe Mazzulla will take over as the team's head coach in Udoka's absence.

The Celtics stated that a decision regarding Udoka's long-term future with the team after the 2022–2023 season "will be decided at a later point." 

Udoka apologised in an evasive statement.
