KARACHI: Pakistan captain Babar Azam appealed to Karachiites to come to the stadium and support the special cause.

The first T20I between Pakistan and England is dedicated to the flood victims. The gate money of the first game will be donated in PM flood relief fund.

In a press conference here on Monday, Babar also appealed to the people of Karachi to come forward in support of the special cause.

"I would like to request people of Karachi, come to the stadium and support this great cause," the skipper said while also confirming that their single match fees from T20 Asia Cup 2022 will also be donated for the flood victims.

Meanwhile, PCB also shared that the team will wear separately-designed kit in the first game. The design of the kit goes in solidarity of flood-hit families. The shirts have players' names and numbers quarterly submerged.

Moreover, as many as 300 flood victims, who are staying in Karachi, will be allowed free entry in the stadium for the first match.

Pakistan and England will play first T20I on September 20 at 7:30pm (PST).
