PAK vs ENG: Babar, Rizwan to not open Pakistan batting against England

KARACHI: Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to not open batting against England in T20I series. 

In a Twitter space with Geo Super, sports journalist and host Haider Azhar shared that since Rizwan is expected to rest for a few games, Pakistan will have to go for another combination. 

"As far as I have talked to some people, Babar and Rizwan will not open Pakistan's batting against England," the cricket analyst said. 

"Pakistan will probably try a new opening pair in this series while moving ahead for T20 World Cup," he added. 

Pakistan have included opener Shan Masood, Haider Ali and Mohammad Haris in the T20I squad against England.
