KARACHI: Pakistan beat New Zealand in the final to lift Over 60's Cricket World Cup in Australia on Wednesday. 

Set to chase 174 runs in 45 overs, Pakistan's SM Kazmi and Mohammad Aslam showed solid commitment to take their team over the victory line. 

The two batters scored half-centuries to set the tone for Pakistan in their three-wicket victory. 

Kazmi remained not out for 71 runs whereas Aslam made 70 runs to help Pakistan lift the trophy. 

Earlier, New Zealand managed to score 173-9 in 45 overs.
