Asia Cup 2022: Amid immense criticism, Sohaib Maqsood backs Pakistan team

KARACHI: Sohaib Maqsood backed the Pakistan team in their tough time after losing to Sri Lanka in T20 Asia Cup 2022 final on Sunday. 

Taking to Twitter amid immense criticism for Babar Azam XI, Maqsood said this team needs support. 

"Pakistan team ke harty hi ju players team se bahir hootay wo achaay hoojaty aur ju team main hoota wo sab se buray. I hope ju log fazool baten kurtay they could experience what it takes to get to that level," the cricketer wrote. 

Pakistan team was highly criticized after they lost to Sri Lanka by 23 runs in T20 Asia Cup final. Cricketers like Shoaib Malik also criticized the team for losing against the Islanders in the final.
