PAK vs SL: Why Nawaz bowled only an over? netizens ask million-dollar question

DUBAI: Pakistani fans highly criticized Babar Azam for not making the most of their best bowler of the T20 Asia Cup 2022 in tournament's final against Sri Lanka here on Sunday. 

Nawaz, who bagged second-most eight wickets in the tournament so far, was given only an over against Sri Lanka. 

The left-arm spinner was brought into the attack in 16th over of the match. He bowled brilliantly and conceded just three runs. 

Sri Lanka went onto score 170-6 in 20 overs despite losing five wickets for 58 runs initially. 

Pakistani fans took to Twitter to bash Babar's decision to not use Nawaz's presence completely.
