Asia Cup 2022 final: Nation gets behind Shadab despite dropping two catches

DUBAI: Fans shown support for Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan after he dropped two catches during the Green Shirts' T20 Asia Cup 2022 final against Sri Lanka here at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

Shadab dropped Rajapaksa twice, who then went on to score 71 runs in 45 balls.

First, he dropped Rajapaksa at mid-off, and after that he collided with Asif Ali who was in a position to take the catch.

Despite the dismal fielding performance, cricket fraternity got behind the all-rounder and said not to say anything bad about him.
