Asia Cup 2022: Rizwan to undergo a precautionary MRI today

DUBAI: Wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan will undergo a precautionary MRI scan today. 

According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Rizwan is feeling a strain in his right leg. The wicket-keeper had a risky landing on his right leg while making an effort to collect the ball behind the stump off Hasnain's bowling in Pakistan vs India's first innings. 

During his batting, Rizwan was feeling pain in his right leg. Still, he managed to score an unbeaten 71 off 51 balls including six boundaries and two maximums. 

Alongside Mohammad Nawaz, he scored a match-turning 73-run partnership to hand Pakistan a revenge-taking victory against India in super 4 stage of the T20 Asia Cup.
