Asia Cup 2022: What has happened to Saqlain Mushtaq?

DUBAI: Pakistan team head coach Saqlain Mushtaq suffered a knee injury after he was hit by a ball during training session. 

On Wednesday, Saqlain rested during the training session due to swelling in his knee. 

In his absence, team manager Mansoor Rana took responsibility as camp commandant on Wednesday. He was seen working with players, especially Babar Azam during the net session. 

Meanwhile, Naseem Shah, who suffered cramps against India, was back with bowling in the nets. Haris Rauf and Hassan Ali also bowled in the nets on Wednesday. 

Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman took a rest during the training session ahead of the Hong Kong game. 

Pakistan will play against Hong Kong on September 2 in Sharjah. The national team will train today at the ICC Academy.
