KARACHI: Pakistan's legendary pacer Shoaib Akhtar has turned 47 today and making the most of this occasion, let's relive his unreachable fastest delivery to date in cricket world.

Akhtar nicknamed the "Rawalpindi Express", is renowned for his lightning-quick pace and ability to bowl fierce bouncers, making the batters of his time fear while taking the crease against him.

Akhtar achieved the milestone during Pakistan's World Cup game against England in 2003 when he clocked 161.3 kph in the last ball of his second over.

The whole cricket fraternity and fans poured in birthday wishes for the former cricketer. 

It is pertinent to mention here that Akhtar represented Pakistan in 224 international matches and claimed 444 wickets.
