Australian cricketers donated A$ 45,000 for Sri Lankan nation

COLOMBO: Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), on Friday, thanked Australian cricketers for donating a handsome amount to their crisis-hit nation. 

Australian cricketers, under the leadership of their Test captain Pat Cummins and white-ball format skipper Aaron Finch, donated A$ 45,000 to help the Sri Lankan people in the time of economic crisis. 

Taking to Twitter, SLC shared a thankful post for Australian cricketers on behalf of their high-ups and the country's cricket fans. 

Australia toured Sri Lanka in June-July this year for a full-fledged tour. Australia beat Sri Lanka 2-1 in T20I series, Sri Lanka defeated Australia 3-2 in ODI series whereas three-match Test series held 1-1 draw.
