KARACHI: A fan paid tribute to Arshad Nadeem, who won a gold medal for Pakistan in a Javelin throw event in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.
Arshad competed with world-renowned throwers and finished first after managing to throw at 90.18 metres in his fifth attempt, setting a new national and Commonwealth Games record.
A fan has paid tribute to Pakistan's hero by sketching his historic throw during the finals of the Men's Javelin throw, where he pulled off a 90.18 metres throw in his fifth attempt.
Arshad also beat India's Neeraj Chopra's Tokyo Olympic throw of 87.58m (Gold) and World Athletics Championship throw of 88.13m (Silver).
It is pertinent to mention here that Arshad won Pakistan's first Gold medal in Commonwealth Games athletics since 1962.
