Ailing first-class cricket umpire seeks help from PCB

Former umpire Akbar Khan needs financial assistance for medical treatment

KARACHI: Former First-Class cricket umpire named Akbar Khan is hospitalized after suffering from severe disease. 

Suleman Talpur, ex-president of Hyderabad Regional Cricket Association, shared a picture of ailing Khan who needs financial assistance for medical treatment. 

"This is First-Class PCB umpire Akbar Khan from Hyderabad. Officiated above 75 matches and look at his condition," Talpur wrote on Twitter. 

Under chairman Ramiz Raja, PCB had helped many cricketers and people related to the game who needed medical help. 

Recently, PCB provided financial support to former Test cricketer Zulqarnain Haider who underwent stomach surgery.
