Pakistan will participate in Baseball Five Asia Cup
The camp of the Pakistan team will be held in Gujranwala from August 2.
LAHORE: Pakistan will participate in the Baseball Five Asia Cup, scheduled to take place in Kaula Lumpur from August 17 to 19.
According to the details, Pakistan is placed alongside China, Singapore, and Taipei in Group C.
Apart from Group C, six other teams including Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines will participate in the event.
President Pakistan Baseball Federation Syed Fakhar Ali Shah said: "Like other sports, this is a new and short format in baseball. A mixed team of male and female players will participate in this format."
He added that Pakistan's eight-member team will consist of four males and four females. The camp of the Pakistan team will be held in Gujranwala from August 2.
"The World Championship of Baseball Five will be held this year and has also been included in the World Youth Games," he concluded.
